Cassidy Jellison began dancing at the age of six at Kristy’s Dance Fusion. For her first two years she participated in tap and jazz, in her third year she began to take ballet as well. It didn’t take long for her to know that dance would be a large part of her life.
Soon, Cassidy began to compete with groups, solos, and duets in all genres. She has also completed numerous exams in tap, jazz, and ballet most recently completing her RAD Advanced Foundation Ballet Exam.
To further develop her training and experience, she attended many workshops and conventions such as, Jump in Calgary, Tremaine Dance Convention in New York, and Showtime Production Summer Camp in Kelowna. In the summer of 2015, Cassidy attended a five week long summer intensive at the ‘Goh Ballet Academy’ in Vancouver BC. There she was able to train under various instructors, and expand her knowledge in Ballet, Contemporary and Musical Theater.
Teaching dance has always been a passion of Cassidy’s. She loves working with children of all ages in all genres. She began assisting at the age of 12 and started her teaching career at the age of 17. Cassidy is a passionate teacher and is dedicated to share her love of dance with others. She continues to further her training in all disciplines of dance.
