Rachel began her dance training at the age of 4 in Saskatoon. By age 9, ballet had become a lifelong passion and she began training with Yvonne Jaspar in Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations. She trained vigorously and almost exclusively in ballet throughout her teenaged years and succeeded in completing the RAD Advanced 2 Examination at the age of 18. She has earned status as an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance in recognition of her exam achievements.

To further her ballet training, Miss Rachel has attended numerous RAD workshops and classes under some of Canada’s most knowledgeable ballet instructors and is a graduate of the RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. Miss Rachel is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. As a teenager, she began doing more serious jazz training and completed Canadian Dance Teacher’s Association examinations from Grade 1 through to the Advanced level with high marks. Miss Rachel is a Certified Acrobatic Arts Module 1 instructor, a Certified AcroDance Teacher’s Association Junior level instructor, and a Certifying ADTA Intermediate instructor.

Miss Rachel enjoys sharing her love of dance with students of all ages, as well as getting to know the families of KDF through her work as the studio’s Project Manager! You may hear from her throughout the year in regards to newsletters, competitions, and a variety of our studio’s large administrative projects.
